Before Hurricane Ike
Our motto is to be safe than sorry. The last thing I wanted to do is have The Bean freak out or stressed over the Hurricane. So we drove to Dallas to stay with my brother. My sisters came too. We all have small children and didn't want our children to suffer with no electricity, the humidity and heat. My mom and dad stayed behind with their animals. We plan to stay till Sunday. I will update when we get back.

Glad to hear you guys got out of Ike's way! It was a nasty one. We have some other friends in Houston that went to family in Arkansas, right where the hurricane went after hitting Texas, they are ok but sad that they traveled so far to get out of its way to just get back in its way in a different state! Have a safe trip back home! You should post some pictures if you get a chance.
